I went there because I couldn't go where I wanted because they are closed on weekends.
These are two great people trying to make a living. They are very sweet & very kind. I never have any issues and enjoy going there rather then any other place in bluffton where I feel unwanted or in the way. I would recommend them to anyone.
Went in here and waited while my girlfriend got a manicure and pedicure. I was dreading sitting through the "salon experience", but I actually enjoyed it. Thui (pronounced Twee), the owner, was super nice and has a good sense of humor, especially for a non-native English speaker (her English is actually really good!). It was also NOT a typical cramped, cheap-feeling salon (amen). It was big and spacious and they let me sit in one of the comfy chairs.
I have to say that the lady was very kind and always wore a smile on her face.
UPDATE: GOT NAILS DONE ON SATURDAY AND IN 3 DAYS THEY ARE PEELING OFF.
All in all the lady did a fine job, but I will be going somewhere else.
My girlfriend was super impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail (far above what's found in Fort Wayne). We'll definitely be coming back to Custom Nails (and Thui)! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
There were other kids trying to come from the back and for a short while was almost screaming because they weren't happy they couldn't come out with the other little girl.
The only thing I didn't find impressive was that her little girl was running around the place. I was only getting my nails done so it wasn't an issue for me, but if I was there to get a pedicure or a manicure I wouldn't have been really happy.
When you go to a nail salon you're going to, usually, have a girl's day away. You're wanting to relax, kid free.
I went in for a full set on Thursday April 7,2016. Full set with gel color was supposed to be $30.00. I was charged $35.00, and it seemed to me as the man who was doing my nails was annoyed because I had to ask several times to make my nails very short. I'm excuse me sir, but I am A PAYING customer and that is your job to do what customer asks. I don't think I will be going back there. Sadly they used to be one of the better nail salons.
Was not impressed today. My friend and I went in for a mani pedi. We were greeted upon arrival and sat promptly. The owner's young daughter was preset. While my friend's toes were being done, the daughter proceeded to climb into her lap and urged her to read her book. The owner didn't do a thing about it. I mean she was sitting on her! Then, we heard a baby crying in the back. The mother (the one that was doing my toes) stopped what she was doing, went and got the baby, and sat him in a play walked in the middle of the salon. The baby walked around in it and continued to ram into things. The experience was supposed to be relaxing but ended up feeling like we were babysitters. All in all, I regret the experience.
